The goal of this project was to use typography to brand and design all communication elements for an independent film festival. The design is inspired by true creative freedom and aims to express specific and relevant attributes of the event. A clear typographic system was established across all deliverables, demonstrating an understanding of hierarchy.
Additionally, a strong grid was developed, showcasing how to effectively "break" the grid when appropriate. X,D is a festival that features independent films from all genres, with a particular emphasis on alternative-style films rather than blockbuster movies. The festival aims not only to provide an enjoyable experience for attendees but also to ensure they leave with a deeper understanding of independent cinema.
