I was tasked with designing and painting a dragon that is reading a book while resting on top of a bookcase. This was quite challenging for me, as I had never painted on such a large surface before. To approach this project, I started by taking a straight-on photograph of the space where the dragon would be located. I then imported the photograph into Photoshop, where I began designing the dragon over the reference image. This allowed me to experiment with different dragon designs while ensuring the correct size and proportions. Once I was satisfied with the design, I proceeded to sketch it onto the surface where this magnificent creature would eventually be painted.
