For this short 21-second video I incorporated separate pieces that do different things to different elements of the song. Because of the delicateness of a snowflake, I used the smaller elements of it for the piano parts of the song, and for the bolder sounds, I used the more sturdy elements of the snowflake. To keep the composition from feeling static I incorporated a foreground midground and a background of blurred snowflakes that slowly fall throughout the composition to give it a sense of movement.
To create a smooth and more natural feel to the composition I wanted the snowflake to enter by fading in as well as growing to its full size. To indicate the end of the song I have both the music and all elements fade out slowly.
